Four Internet Safety Rules

1. I will think before I post.

Before you post anything online, must use that when you post that information that, it isn't any personal information or secrets about yourselves. Because any person could go online and see all your personal information

2. I will respect others online.

Before you post a comment or say something about someone online, you should think about how you would feel, if someone said that to you; how would you feel.

3. I will be careful when meeting online friends in person.

Meeting online people in person is one thing thing that you shouldn't do. First of all, you don't if the person is who they say they are. For example their has been many people that meet online people online and that person turn out to be the same gender as you and you are also dating that person or that person might be 40 years older than you. Second, get parents permission, so they know where you are, if anything happens. Also, you shouldn't meet that person at night or in a private area meet that person in broad daylight and in public area, like at a Tim Horton's.

4 . I will protect myself online.

Must use that you don't post too much information online. Must sure that the information you share isn't related to any secrets or personal information. Post things like: "I got a 97 in Computer Science and Technology 7/8."

Citing Sources

One profession that will need to citing sources is a `journalist` because a journalist is someone who collects, writes, or distributes news or other current information so these kinds of people would need to citing there sources of information. Jayson Blair, a young Times reporter, lied and faked and cheated his way through story after story — scores of them, for years. He fabricated sources, plagiarized material from other publications, and pretended to be places he never went. The problem, once fully investigated and made public by The Times itself, brought down not only the reporter but also The Times’s executive editor and managing editor.

Internet Information

In my search I only found my Facebook account and all my other accounts I didn't find anything information on those. Finding my Facebook account was surprising because I didn't think that google would be able to find Facebook account because I`m not famous. Also I rarely use social media because you shouldn't always be on your phone texting every second and also it can damage your eyes.

What is Cyberbullying?

Cyber bullying is the willful and repeated harm inflicted through the use of computers, cell phones, and other electronic devices to hurt or intimidate someone. Cyber bullying is a bad thing because it could cause someone to kill themselves or get so mad that the hurt the person who intimidated he or she.
Their was one time that I was cyber bullyed on Facebook and that person said that I looked like a "dead rat" and I called them ugly and told them to stop taking to me.
